गीत मेरे, देहरी का दीप-सा बन।

एक दुनिया है हृदय में, मानता हूँ,
वह घिरी तम से, इसे भी जानता हूँ,
छा रहा है किंतु बाहर भी तिमिर-घन,

प्राण की लौ से तुझे जिस काल बारुँ,
और अपने कंठ पर तुझको सँवारूँ,
कह उठे संसार, आया ज्‍योति का क्षण,
गीत मेरे, देहरी का द‍ीप-सा बन।

दूर कर मुझमें भरी तू कालिमा जब,
फैल जाए विश्‍व में भी लालिमा तब,
जानता सीमा नहीं है अग्नि का कण,

जग विभामय न तो काली रात मेरी,
