This temple is famous by the name Baba Hathi Kheda Thakur in Bodam block of Patamada. Due to the presence of mountains and dense forests around the temple, the beauty of the temple remains worth seeing. Due to which a large number of tourists also come to visit here. Many sculptures of elephants have been made inside this temple complex.
Unique tradition of the temple
Speaking to Local 18, temple priest Dayal Singh said that there is a tradition of sacrificing sheep along with tying chunri and coconut. The special thing is that women cannot eat the prasad here. It is also prohibited to take the Prasad home from here. People living around the temple say that our ancestors have already made a rule that women are prohibited from eating the prasad here. Jayshree Sharma, who came to worship, said that devotees come to this temple from far and wide with vows and to fulfill them, they tie things like coconut, bells and chunari etc. in the temple premises. People sacrifice sheep to please the gods, some part of which is offered in the temple and the rest is taken as Prasad.
